To form the wire rod structure, a controlled cooling system is used; it provides complex automatic processing of rolled products in the mill line. Cooling line is intended for accelerated controlled cooling of rolls down to specified temperatures in order to reach necessary physical and mechanical properties of finished products in a specified range of self-tempering temperatures.
Cooling of rolls in the cooling line allows achieving required properties of wire rods while reducing expenses for heat treatment in furnaces and alloying elements during smelting.
